Brain is an organ and also a most powerful muscle in the
human body. Brain is composed of about 75% water and consists of 60% fat like
lipids, unsaturated fats, omega 3 and omega 6.
Now a days the memory and the brain are weak of many
students, kids, old aged people etc. and are suffering through many brain disorder.
Today the people are ignoring the essential elements for brain and its memory
which cause lack of remembering things means weak memory or unhealthy brain.
Most of the brain growth is completed by 5-6 years of age.
The EFAs, particularly the omega-3 fatty acids, are important for brain
development during both the fetal and postnatal period.
The introduction and the over use of technology is making
our brain lazy and keep it in a resting mode. So our brain is out of routine to
work effectively and efficiently. It is vital to do brain exercise regularly,
like in old days the calculation were done manually which is replaced by
calculators and other calculating software. So we should make the routine to do
calculation from simplified to complex ones, solve puzzles, crosswords and also
play brain games like chess, juggling, dance, learning languages, physical
exercise like walking, jogging, Zumba, yoga, aerobics, etc. If you don’t do
mental exercise or brain exercise the cells of the brain becomes weak and the
brain resistant to explore, learn, and remember things.
If you are under stress or pressure or you take no or less
sleep it directly effects your brain and its cells, doing exercises and
meditation generates positive energy, makes your mind active and healthy. Brain
is also dangerous muscle and organ because it always crave for sugar.
Wherever we consumes carbohydrates or sugar then it is
stored in the form of fat on your body but in the brain when neurons absorbs
the sugar it does not get stored in the cell instead it damages the neurons.
Brain starves for the sugar and people keep on consuming it, the brain is a “SUGAR-SUCKER”.
The tastes is satisfied by the brain and also triggers hunger for sugar. Sugar
can be in the form of white sugar, all possessed foods, packed juice, soda etc.
If you have to boost your mind and want a healthy brain then you should first
cut down the consumption of sugar.
You have to control your mind but if your mind controls you
and your body then it will damage the body and spoil your life through
suicides, murders, rape cases etc. because you have no control over the brain.
Then brain misbehaves and reacts abnormally and stimulates the body for high
reactive actions.
HOW TO REPAIR YOUR BRAIN?
Focus on your breathing:
Try to take fresh morning air and morning walk to reduce
stress and increase the level of oxygen in your body. Waking up early also
psychologically helps your mind and make it more alert and active.
Take proper sleep:
When you sleep better then you think better. Adequate amount
of sleep is must for your body, mind, eyes and for the good mood.
Play games or sport:
Playing any game or sport makes you feel happy, joyful and
makes you positive. It refreshes and uplifts the spirit and recharge your mind,
activates the brain cell and helps in development and functioning of the brain.
Do mental exercise:
Try to solve calculation on your own and avoid the use of
calculators. Focus on solving puzzles and crosswords to make your brain more
calculative and solution seeker.
Try to listen songs:
When you feel stress or having a bad mood try to listen
songs and music.
Do the meditation:
To improve the concentration, focus and learning power of
the brain. It also helps in strengthening the memory of the brain for long time.
It also creates the positive energy and relaxes the mind.
Take a proper diet:
The correct diet and help the brain in the development and
repair the cell damages and protects from the toxicants. Avoid smoking, drinking
alcohol, consuming sugar, junk and spicy food. Further, add the following food
items in your diet:
Seeds:
Chia seeds: It is most smallest seeds, it is high in omega
3, fiber and antioxidants are present. It is recommended to take 2 spoons in a
day (around 30gm)
Flax seeds: Flaxseeds contain both soluble and insoluble fibers
and are rich in the essential fatty acids omega 3 (linolenic) and omega 6
(linoleic). They play a fundamental physiological role and cannot be
synthesized by the body- thus considered essential.
Nuts:
Almonds and Walnuts: Lots of fiber and nutrients are
present. Also omega 3 are present in high quantity. You can take 28gm in a day.
It also calm down your brain and also helps in sleeping, improves your memory,
high in vitamin E, protects from cancer, makes your heart healthy.
Spinach:
Spinach helps in reducing the free radicals which are
responsible for damaging DNA, grows cancer and tumor. Consuming spinach protects
your body from cancer and tumor. It is suggested you to consume raw spinach
instead of cooked spinach because cooking kills all the nutrients present in
the spinach.
Cereals, oats, broccoli, coconut oil, avocado:
It helps to fortify and repair the brain cell damage and protects
the brain from potentially harmful chemicals and toxins in the blood. Including
Cereals, oats, broccoli, coconut oil, avocado in the diet helps in the development
and functioning of the brain.
Water:
Brain is composed of 75% of water and lack of water makes
the brain and body tired and can experience headaches, stress and unconscious.
Consuming adequate amount of water keeps the body and mind hydrated, fresh and
cool.
